GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS GENERAL PROVISIONS Central Asian Journal of Veterinary Science publishes peer-reviewed original research articles and thematic review papers covering all aspects of veterinary sciences. Interdisciplinary manuscripts as well as well-substantiated review articles are particularly welcomed. The Journal is included in the List of Tier-2 Scientific Publications recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The language of publication is English. Manuscripts must be submitted via the Open Journal System (OJS) online platform. Prior to submission, authors are required to register in the system using the following link: Central Asian Journal of Veterinary Science operates a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain mutually anonymous throughout the review process. Prior to being sent for peer review, all submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to ensure compliance with the Journal’s requirements. The screening evaluates criteria such as the novelty of the research, originality of the results, adherence to the prescribed manuscript structure and formatting, significance of the conclusions, and the quality of the English language. Manuscripts are accepted with a minimum text originality level of 70%. Submissions that do not meet the above criteria are rejected at this stage without further consideration. AUTHOR RESPONSIBILITIES By submitting a manuscript to Central Asian Journal of Veterinary Science, the author(s) warrant that the manuscript is an original work and that it has not been published previously, nor is it currently under consideration for publication in any other journal. The authors further confirm that all ideas and words of others are appropriately acknowledged through proper citation and/or referencing. Fabrication of results and knowingly inaccurate statements are unacceptable and may result in rejection of the manuscript or retraction of a published article. Central Asian Journal of Veterinary Science adheres to the authorship criteria established by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made a substantial contribution to: Individuals who contributed to the work but do not meet the criteria for authorship, as well as organizations that provided financial support for the research, should be acknowledged in the Acknowledgements section at the end of the article. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors have read and approved the final version of the manuscript and have agreed to its submission and publication. All authors bear responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of the information presented. The Journal does not permit changes in authorship after preliminary acceptance of the manuscript. REVIEWER RESPONSIBILITIES Reviewers are required to register in the journal system as reviewers via the following link: The review must be submitted within two weeks. Ideas and hypotheses described in the manuscript must be treated as confidential and must not be used for personal advantage. The results of the work must not be discussed with colleagues nor used in scientific seminars, lectures, or presentations at academic conferences. Reviewers should express their opinions clearly, providing reasoned and well-substantiated comments, and must remain максимально objective in their evaluation of the manuscript. Constructive suggestions and recommendations aimed at improving the manuscript are strongly encouraged, even when the reviewer recommends rejection. Reviewers should pay particular attention to the novelty and/or originality of the work, the absence of substantial similarity between the submitted manuscript and previously published articles, and the completeness and accuracy of citations of relevant literature. Reviewers are also expected to indicate pertinent published studies that have not been cited by the author(s), identify cases of incorrect or incomplete referencing, and inform the Scientific Editor of any concerns regarding the ethical acceptability of the submitted research. EDITORIAL BOARD RESPONSIBILITIES Central Asian Journal of Veterinary Science bears the ultimate responsibility for making the final decision regarding the publication of manuscripts submitted to the Journal. In doing so, the Editorial Board is guided by the Journal’s editorial policies, as defined in the Regulations on the Editorial Board, as well as by applicable legal frameworks concerning defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. The Editorial Office does not disclose information about a manuscript under consideration to anyone other than the author(s), reviewers, and potential reviewers (and, where necessary, members of the Editorial Board). Manuscripts are evaluated on the basis of scientific rigor, clarity and quality of presentation, and their contribution to the advancement of science, as well as with regard to compliance with ethical principles and the minimization of potential harm associated with the conduct of the research. When considering matters related to article retraction, the publication of expressions of concern, or the issuance of corrections to published articles, the editors follow the COPE Retraction Guidelines. ETHICAL APPROVAL Experiments involving animals must be conducted in accordance with the principles established by the International Animal Ethics Committee or an Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, as well as in compliance with local laws and regulations.
