Ornamental plants are cultivated in urban landscapes for greening purposes and commercial use. They are highly valued for their aesthetic qualities and constitute an important part of the global horticulture industry. Under the influence of various phytopathogenic microorganisms, ornamental plants lose their value, reduce the quality of planting material, and cause significant economic damage. Among these, roses are the most popular ornamental plants. In recent years, the significant growth of the ornamental plant market has contributed to the spread of fungal pathogens. Therefore, the systematization of data on the diversity of pathogens affecting these plants is an important research task. In this review, we describe the diversity of these pathogens and their adverse effects on the ornamental plants.
