THE USE OF COMPUTER TESTING DURING LEARNING FOREIGN LANGUAGES

The article shows how you can apply the method of control and training testing in the study of a foreign language. The emphasis is on the study of words and their translation. First, the most frequently used words are remembered, then – less used. The essence of the method lies in the fact that in the case of an incorrect answer there will be given a chance to respond the second time. If the error is repeated, the correct answer with translation of the word will be shown. Later, this same word again will be asked at the end of testing. The final score for testing is formed depending on how many mistakes person made. Computer test program does not end until the person does not correctly answer all the questions selected from the database of tests. Thus, a person gradually learns the entire base of foreign words by using computer testing.
