Abstract

The article is devoted to definition of the essence of reflection, its typology, as well as the willingness and ability of students to apply reflection in the acquisition of a second language, to understand the performed learning activities in the totality of its components and to manage teaching as a system of actions leading to a successful result. Reflection is a prerequisite of self-development teacher and his students. It contributes to the development of three important human qualities as independence, initiative, competitiveness. Reflection is defined as the necessary component activities of not only students but also teachers. The development of reflective abilities of students is very important and is the determining factor in self-education.Reflection is a
symptom of ascertaining identity and is formed along with it. The performance of any activity are dictated by its reflexivity.
The article has a practical significance, as the development of reflective human consciousness in subsequent life periods is associated with personal and professional self-determination and the development of reflection in the process of vocational education, vocational training and self-actualization as a professional.
