Abstract

In Astana reservoir inhabited by more than 8 species of fish. Of these, five species of native and introduced three types. Among them are often found: bream, perch, crucian, carp and pikeperch. The species composition is dominated by bream and represent more than 30% of the catch, roach -26.4% and less often found pikeperch just 0.5%. By age indicators prevail bream, crucian and pikeperch. For example, among bream meet 1-4 yrs, perch up to 6 years. Carp is mainly composed of 2-4 yrs. By weight the highest rate among the pike, whose average weight was 1.2 kg., Then carp 1.07 kg, and the lowest figure for the mass in roach - 0.09 kg. However, the roach population, this figure is quite normal.
