Abstract

Systematization of the Kazakhstan collection of perennial species of alfalfausing bothP. Lubenets and E. Small taxonomies is carried out. Distinctions in approaches are shown.Two species asM. difalcata Sinsk., M. falcate L. (on. P. Lubenets) are united in one subspecies of Medicago sativa subsp. falcata (L.) Arcang. (on E.Small); three species of M. trautvetteri Sumn., M. varia Mart., M.
tianshanica Vass. - in subspecies of Medicago sativa nothosubsp. varia (Martin) Arcang. The studied samples, generally belong to Medicago sativa nothosubsp. varia (Martin) Arcang.; Medicago sativa subsp. falcata (L.) Arcang. and Medicago sativa
subsp. sativa. The information should to be considered at an exchange of genetic resources, molecular and genetic investigations.
