Abstract

Research materials of dairy efficiency of various genealogical lines of cattle of golshtinsky black and motley breed on the example of Rodina agricultural farm are given in article. By research results it should be noted rather high dairy efficiency of the Holstein black and motley cows belonging to the line Reflekshing Sovering. Individuals of this line through the descendants had positive impact on herd of Holstein black and motley breed of Rodina agricultural farm. It is established that the animals from to the genealogical line Reflekshing Sovering have higher genetic potential of efficiency in comparison with genealogical lines Montvik Chivteyn and Aydial Hung. That’s why it is better to use the animals having ancestors from the specified genealogical line for formation of breeding herd on condition of compliance to standards of breed.
