Abstract

In conditions of the agricultural farm "Rodina" the research work on linear estimation of the exterior Holstein cows and Black & White dairy breed was conducted. According to the results of research the linear profile of both breeds was compiled that did not differ from each other by a large difference, the difference was only ± 0,1-0,9 points. However, there is a big difference on the optimal linear estimation score with a negative sign. It is proposed to improve the exterior with seed of estimated bulls by the body type of heifers and good conformation index and high productivity.
