Abstract

This article presents the results of scientific research on the influence of temperament on the growth and development of Kazakh white-headed bulls. Animal ethology, including the temperament of domestic animals, is of great interest in scientific circles around the world. Leading scientists from different universities are engaged in research in this area, since the temperament of animals affects many characteristics of the animal. Therefore, the study of temperament is relevant not only in Kazakhstan, but also abroad. The study period is November 2022 - February 2023. According to table 1, it can be noted that the largest average daily increase in bulls with temperament 1 and is equal to 1.507 ± 0.06 g, and in bulls with temperament 4, the average daily increase was 1.191 ± 0.1 g, which is 20.97% less compared to the most calm peers. It was found (table 2) that the area of the muscular eye of bulls with a calm temperament (1) was equal to 46.35 ± 1.58 cm2, and in bulls with temperament 2 was equal to 43.02 ± 0.66 cm2, which is 7.2 % less compared with bulls with a calmer temperament. The areas of the muscular eye of bulls with temperament 3 and 4 were 39.75±1.34 cm2 and 39.25±1.07 cm2, respectively.
