Abstract

The article defines the energy consumption per unit on proposed technology of preparation and storage silage in flexible vacuum containers, also makes a comparative analysis with the traditional technology of preparation in trenches. For this purpose, operations were analysis, including aggregates (agricultural machines) that perform each process, from mowing the green mass to silage to storage in a compacted state. A technological map was compiled for each operation included in the technologies, where the total and per unit energy costs were determined and a comparative graph was built. The study presents the definitions of per unit energy consumption and saving of monetary costs for two technologies of preparation and storage of silage, which showed that in traditional conditions, the main energy costs are taken by compaction with the help of heavy energy-intensive units.
