Abstract

This article describes the main indicators of of imported Aberdeen Angus and Aubrac cattle breeds acclimatization in the conditions of northern Kazakhstan. As a result of the study, certain dynamics in different seasons of the year of cattle body temperature has revealed, which varies in the experimental group of Aubrac breed bulls from 38,2°C in summer to 39,2°C in winter. Aberdeen Angus bulls figures varied from 38.6 to 38,9°C and 0,3°C. All experimental animals were characterized by a decrease in temperature in the summer (38,4-38,6°C) and high temperature in the fall (38,9-39,2°C). The number of leukocytes in Aberdeen angus bulls (8.80 thousand./ml) was higher than that of their peers (8.16 thousand./ml), indicating that the trend towards increased stability of Aberdeen Angus breed to adverse conditions and gives us the right to consider that they more promising in terms adaptation process passage. Thus, when you create a branch of beef cattle in the conditions of northern Kazakhstan, the most appropriate to use animals of Aberdeen-Angus breed, which are well adapted to local conditions.
