Abstract

Geometrically, the working organs of the tillers and sowing machines are made in the form of flat or curved wedges and curvilinear include spherical disks of harrows, scallops, plow blades, hillocks and, including paw coulters. In this article, the movement of the soil layer along the curved surface of the coulter of a direct seeder is considered. From the condition of uniform motion of the formation along the curvilinear surface of the opener, the theoretical dependences of the velocity and displacement of the formation on the friction coefficient f, the setting angle, the wedge length l, and the radius of curvature r were obtained. These dependencies serve as the basis for designing the opener profile.
