Abstract

An assessment of the geographical and commodity structure of exports of food products and agricultural raw materials of the EEU member countries was carried out. It is established that the export of the commodity group «Foodstuffs and agricultural raw materials» of the EEU member countries is geographically mainly oriented to non-CIS countries. The Russian Federation has the highest comparative advantages in exports, but the Republic of Belarus receives the greatest benefits from integration, since the competitiveness of its products in the market of the EAEU countries is much higher than in the world market as a whole.
Comparative advantages in the export of food products and agricultural raw materials of the EEU member countries are revealed. It was found that the smallest depth of the product range of export countries for EAEU partner countries ischaracteristic for the domestic economy. The number of commodity items varies from 1 to 4, while for other partners in the union, for Russia and Belarus, the depth of trade interaction is much differentiated. A conclusion is drawn on the low level of development of the export potential of the EEU in the sphere of agro-industrial complex. The key priorities for building a common agrarian market within the framework of the EEU and directions of cooperation in the field of agroindustrial complex are highlighted. State policy in the sphere of the agroindustrial complex should be aimed at producing competitive, high-quality, eco-friendly products. Measures are needed to build and modernize plants for processing grain, vegetables and fruits in order to increase the competitiveness of the agro-industrial
complex. It is necessary to stimulate investment activity and innovative development of the industry, jointly develop the infrastructure of the agro-food market and modern logistics centers. Priority tasks include the development of mechanisms to increase the attractiveness of working at the countryside, the development of joint cooperative ties and projects in the field of agribusiness with the aim of import substitution, the implementation of an agreed marketing policy, including marketing to enter foreign markets
