Abstract

The article presents the solutions of logical problems for students to master the basics of discrete mathematics. Modern discrete mathematics, that is, mathematics of structures of finite character, occupies an important place in the modernization of vocational education. Today, in many industries, problems are increasingly arising, the solution of which requires the simultaneous use of both continuous (based on the methods of classical mathematics) and discrete models. The purpose of logical calculations is to perform logical exercises, which are the most effective way to develop mental, imaginary, and intellectual thinking. The article also shows that some logical problems and how to solve them. In mathematical science, logical problems are divided into several types, methods of solving various problems are considered using the methods of set theory, mathematical logic, graph theory, and a billiard ball. The ongoing changes in education provide students with a competitive personality. The article may be useful to students studying discrete mathematics and novice teachers.
