Abstract

As a result of this work, Moraxella spp. bacteria were isolated from samples of biological material from cattle with clinical signs of infectious keratoconjunctivitis. The design of group primers for the cytotoxin gene was carried out to identify Moraxella spp. Amplification of the Moraxella sppcytotoxin gene fragment was performed.Isolated strain, the DNA of which was sequenced by the cytotoxin gene. The nucleotide sequences were combined in SeqMan software (DNAStar).Based on the GeneBank data using the BLAST algorithm, the analyzed isolate was identified as Moraxella bovoculi. Phylogenetic analysis using the nucleotide sequences of the cytotoxin gene deposited in NCBI also showed clustering of the obtained isolate on the same hoard with Moraxella bovoculi. The sensitivity of the isolated strain to the main antimicrobial agents was determined.
